I mean, I’ve been known to buy a few courses here and there, but I never thought of myself as a hoarder before!
Then again when I look back, I think I’ve probably bought upwards of ten ecourses (and that’s probably being conservative). Admittedly, a few of them I have yet to complete, but I have not regretted a single purchase.
Why I Purchase Online Business Courses
#1 Because I love to learn
I think most of us get into the business of blogging because in some way, we’re bored. When we get stuck doing the same thing over and over every day, our brain develops these neural pathways that tend to get tracked out over time.
When that happens, we need something that helps exercise our brains in new ways so we can develop new pathways. This can be challenging but exhilarating at the same time!
#2 Because I love to grow my blog
What’s the point of blogging if it doesn’t grow, right? In order to grow, you have to learn how to make it grow. No one just wakes up one day, starts a business and knows off the bat how to do it.
Just like it took you years to learn how to read and write, it takes years to learn how to blog. And market. And design. And guest post. And get traffic. And.. and… and…
There’s always something new to learn and you can’t learn it all at once, it happens over time and through experience making mistakes and then learning from them.
So go easy on yourself if you’ve been blogging for a year and don’t have a huge list. You’ll learn how soon enough if you keep at it.
#3 Because I love my business!
Some days I want nothing to do with it, but most days I can’t wait to get started! I love figuring out what I should share next to help someone. I love logging into the Facebook group to see what questions people have today.
I also want to know how to get the most out of being a solopreneur! How to manage my time better so I can do more and make more money. There has to be some reward for all this effort, right? 😉
Want to Make the Most of Your Business Too?
Hey you, I know I’m not alone in wanting to learn more to earn more. I mean, the ecourse industry isn’t BOOMING for nothing. But how do you know you’re going to get something worth spending your money on?
My Favorite Online Courses
Not every course I’ve done has been all that, some definitely stand out more than the rest. These are my favorites, the ones that I got the most out of and ones I know you will love too.
By the way, links marked with a (*) are affiliate links which means that if you make a purchase through the link, you’ll be helping to financially support DYOB to keep sharing free content! Read my full disclosure here if you wish.
My Favorite Membership Program
But courses ain’t cheap. Ranging anywhere from $50 to $2000 and beyond, they can add up. That’s why I love it when rare course bundles come around. Because for the price of ONE course, I can get 10 or 20 or 30 or more! I really feel like I get my money’s worth because there’s no risk.
I mean, how could all the courses and products possibly be terrible? They can’t. Especially not with this line-up of blogging stars!
Wait, what line-up Marianne?
Oh right, I should probably mention that The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit* is back for just TWO DAYS! It’s so incredibly awesome and is really set to skyrocket your blog to the next level if you’re up for the challenge!
