ummm… where do I start. Probably the first thing I would fix is all the stuff going on in my side bar… or the menu bar at the top… basically need a new template/layout.

  • I’d love to have someone pop into my blog and tie all the blues together! 🙂 I know they’re not quite exactly right, but am not sure how to fix them. Thanks for this giveaway!

  • Jenni Gate says:

Marianne, I hear you on how busy the holidays are. We’re keeping things as simple as possible this year while we’re preparing for a big move. I suspended my blog for a while, but when I do get back to it, I would love more tips on working with images. I always seem to get the sizing wrong.

Thanks for doing this. I’m looking forward to reading your book!

  • I’m a new blogger and really need help with individualized widgets with working links. Basic technical stuff for others but a major challenge for me!

  • I want to create a new header/logo!

  • Anita says:

    Hi Marianne,

    Thank you for this opportunity.

I would value advice on what should be added to catch people’s interest.

  • Stephanie says:

I want to do sidebar images that would take people to certain categories of posts. I have some done in Canva but not sure they are that different so need to think of a catchy but elegant design.

  • Wanda says:

I’m wanting to redesign my site and a new header image is where I’m looking to start.

  • Meredith says:

I want to great a cohesive branding image layout so that all my images are easily recognizable as mine.

The first thing I want to change in my website design is my header. Thank you for the giveaway!

  • Beth H says:

The first thing? I’m not even sure. I might need you to tell me the first thing that needs fixing!

  • julie says:

Absolutely want to fix my nav bar. And fonts. (That’s why I’m here – what you do is awesome!)

  • Melissa Jenkins says:

The first thing I’d like to fix in my blog is just plain starting from scratch! Clear out all the old graphics and whatnot and have a super clean, simplistic look… which is hard because I tend to make things complicated!

  • Sandy says:

Thanks for this wonderful initiative, Marianne 🙂

The very first thing I would like to fix is the top header for my blog. I like the existing theme but the header i have is kind of limited. I would like to be able to put a wide horizontal banner across the top header, which currently only limit to a small column on the left.

  • HilLesha says:

I want to create a new logo. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Deborah says:

Hey Marianne. I would love to know what to put on each of the pages on my site, for example on the blog, the sidebar should have …………………… and the about page should have …………in the sidebar or nothing in the sidebar.

I would also love to know any tricks to designing the graphics for my blog posts and widgets. And what the hell is a Rafflecopter 🙂

  • Mossy says:

I’d love to improve the colors and fonts on my blog.
Thanks so much for this giveaway (and also all the hints you give on your website!) 🙂

  • Vicki says:

I’m really graphic design differently-abled, so this ebook would help me a lot. I have no clue about color palette, font combinations, etc.

  • The first design element that I would most definitely change about my website is the typography.

  • I love learning how to become a better blogger, how to serve my readers better…how to make their experience better! Blogging has been such a blessing to me, would love to check your new book out! thanks for the opportunity! x

  • Ingelise says:

My next project is to work on the colour scheme, then my About Page and and and, have to get the whole way round! Loving all the great tips I get here! It’s like having some one to hold my hand and get advice on the journey! Thanks for sharing!

  • Linda says:

First thing? Maybe create sidebar images to coordinate with my header menu categories that ‘fit’ with theme and style of my blog.

  • Mad says:

I want to make my sidebars prettier!

  • First I would definitely change my fonts and color – they’re too blah. Then I’d move on to the nav and the sidebar!

  • Thanks for this great opportunity! I suffer from Blog Shame. I do not have any personality in my header, sidebar etc. and I want CUTE! CUTE! CUTE!

  • Emmy says:

Oh man, what do I want to fix first?! Probably cleaning up the layout. Just a cleaner “prettier” layout without so much in the sidebar. Just reluctant to resize everything! Ack! I’m learning the downsides of headway pretty quickly! Thanks for this giveaway and your awesome content!

  • Mel says:

I want to redesign my site and make it pretty looking as a branding tool.

  • Christine says:

I would love to know if I should keep my current url or change to something more brand specific.

  • Emz Chang says:

The first thing I want to fix is my sidebar. It can get messy.

  • Rocio says:

I want fix the suscribe box! I want the ebook!!!!!!

  • Beks says:

I’d love to be able to get a real handle on how I want my blog to look. Well, I know HOW I want it to look, I just don’t know how to get there.

  • I would like to get the theme and color of my blog just right. I don’t have a perfect picture in my head of what I want my blog to look like. I really love Alex Beadons blog because of the pink and gray, but I don’t want to copy anyones. I’m guilty of blog envy, I want to learn how to create my own blog from scratch. Just don’t know where to start!!! And I would love to win a free copy !!!!

  • Dawn says:

I would love to create some buttons to match my design.

  • The first thing I’d fix would be my menu bar and reorganize my categories. I need to work on that. Great giveaway. Thanks!

  • Dee says:

Whenever I look at my Blog page I totally cringe. But I don’t know how to make it look more professional or inviting. It looks completely amateurish!

  • Julie says:

The first thing I would fix is the links at the bottom of my page and on the side. Thanks for the competition.

  • I would love to customize the footer on my blog. It’s got nothing and looks plain-jane.

  • Claire says:

There’s just something missing from my blog, like a cohesive theme. I like the individual parts, but all together its just kind of… Boring and scattered.

  • Miss P says:

i’d love to change the whole look and feel of my blog so it’s more girly and personal. More hand-lettered typefaces, a water color look, etc. all fun. 🙂

It’s so wonderful that you put together this eBook. Whether I win or not, I’ll be reading it!, lol, and I can’t wait to put your information to use. Thanks again!

  • Dear Marianne, Thank you so much for this give out! I already pre-ordered your book, I think your content is most valuable and always useful.
I would like to change my optin form and maybe find some “icons” or “items” or “little designs” that I can use and play around with for different needs. Kind of finding “picture words” that would define my personal “image language” Does this make any sense to you? I am not sure if I have explained myself very well!
    Many thanks for everything!
